What you’ll be doing
You’ll head up the YMCA Goldfields community centre, youth services and gym. You’ll contribute to the centre vision and bring it to life by partnering with community groups, designing programs & services, utilising marketing strategies, upholding safeguarding, maintaining financial performance, and encouraging exceptional customer service with a ‘community development focus’. You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Are an up-and-coming leader, who drives with vision and energy to coach, inspire and lead a team
- Are passionate about engaging with a local community to provide a place of connection, fitness and health and highly motivated to achieve targets
- Have previous financial management experience, including budget preparation skills
- Hold a tertiary qualification in, Business Management, Community Development, Youth of Social Services or another related (highly regarded)
- Have demonstrated experience in the community development and recreation sector
- Have previous experience managing a centre (desirable)
- Are able to obtain a National Police Certificate, Working with Children card and HLTAID011 First Aid qualification
