Are you looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and supportive environment? Palm Lake Resort Bargara is seeking an experienced Kitchenhand to join our team! Your attention to detail and dedication will ensure the facilities are clean and enjoyable place for residents and visitors alike.

This role is Permanent Part time fixed roster, offering a minimum 20 hours per week where you will assist the Chef in food prep for meal services. Shifts are covering a Tuesday and Thursday dinner service 3pm-8pm and Wednesday & Friday lunch service from 9am to 2pm.

The successful applicant will have experience in preparation of food and cooking along side the chef with meal sittings for service for over 50 - 100 people.

As a Kitchen hand your responsibilities will include;

Assisting chef with food preparation; cutting food, salads preparing sauces, gravies and desserts;

Plating of meals, Serving meals to residents;

Dish washing, kitchen cleaning and sanitizing after service;

Rubbish removal, vacuuming and moping all common areas;

Ideally you will have:-

Relevant experience as a Kitchen hand;

Hold a current Food handling certificate is essential;

Current “C” Class drivers licence;

Good time management and attention to detail;

Ability to work independent and achieve set targets.
