Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be working with a dedicated team of catering staff where you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents.

This role is essential in the preparation and overseeing the provision of the resident’s daily meals in accordance with dietary requirements.

We are looking for someone with:

Previous experience as a Cook Assist with experience for catering for a large number of people

Reliable and flexible: available on short notice to cover staff absences, shifts during peak periods and scheduled leave.

A passion for delivering quality meals and services to customers / residents

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Demonstrated experience in adhering to a Food Safety Plan

Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills

Permanent Part Time position

Ability to work day shifts including weekends (during hours between 0600 to 1730)

Work life balance - no late night work

11.5% Superannuation
