About the Role

You will be at the helm of our community-based service, steering the team to deliver exceptional education and care aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and our service philosophy. Your leadership will ensure each child feels safe, valued, and empowered through inclusive and innovative practices.

What You’ll Do

· Lead, manage, and support a passionate team to deliver high-quality education and care.

· Foster an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for children, families, and staff.

· Oversee program implementation and ensure practices reflect best standards and the individual needs of every child.

· Maintain compliance with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and organisational policies.

· Manage enrolments, budgets, and administration to ensure smooth and effective service operations.

· Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with families and the broader community.

· Drive continuous improvement to enhance service quality and enrich team performance.

About You

· Demonstrated leadership experience in early childhood or community-based settings.

· Strong commitment to maintaining a Child Safe Organisation where safety and respect are paramount.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to inspire and motivate staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

· Passion for delivering inclusive and high-quality educational programs.

· Solid understanding of the NQF, relevant legislation, and compliance requirements.

· Experience in managing budgets, enrolments, and administrative processes.

Qualifications

· A degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education or Diploma

· A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate (or willing to get them).

· Experience leading a team in a childcare or education setting.

· Good knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and following regulations.

· Skills in organising, planning, budgeting, and handling enrolments.

· Ability to create and run inclusive, high-quality learning programs.

· Great communication skills and able to build good relationships with children, families, staff, and the community.

· Willingness to keep learning and improving professionally.
