About Us:
Trinity Preschool is a community-based, not-for-profit Preschool with 160 children enrolled (80 licensed places per day) and a dedicated team of 20 staff. We operate Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 4.00pm offering 2-day and 3-day programs that provide a nurturing, inclusive environment fostering curiosity, individuality and belonging.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and visionary Director / Nominated Supervisor to lead our Preschool and ensure the highest quality education and care. You will provide strategic, educational and operational leadership across all areas of the service, working closely with the Management Committee, Educational Leader, Business Administrator and staff.

You will have the opportunity to guide a respected community Preschool and champion excellence in teaching, compliance and family engagement in line with the National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and our Statement of Philosophy.

The role requires after hours attendance for up to two staff meetings per term and one Management Committee meeting per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support educators and teachers to deliver high-quality, pedagogical programs.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and wellbeing policies, WHS, and child protection requirements.

Oversee day-to-day operations including budgeting, rostering, payroll and reporting.

Ensure compliance with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, licensing requirements, and NQS.

Foster strong relationships with families, local schools, and the wider community.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation across all learning and operational areas.

Support staff to deliver inclusive programs, excursions, and learning initiatives for children with additional needs.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Demonstrated experience as a Director or Nominated Supervisor in an approved early childhood service.

ACECQA – approved teaching qualification (Bachelor of Education EC or Bachelor of Teaching EC).

Current NESA registration, WWCC, First Aid (including Asthma / Anaphylaxis), & Child Protection qualifications.

Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS and inclusive educational practice.
