About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at The Narangba Family Medical Practice in Narangba, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering afternoon closing shifts Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner

Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's calendar

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services

Collecting and processing patient registration and insurance information

Maintaining organised patient records and files

Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds

Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills

Proficiency in using medical software and office equipment

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A friendly, professional and adaptable approach to work
