Our client is a family-run structural steel business that services mainly to the luxury residential industry. As a result of ongoing company growth, they are currently looking to add an additional Estimator / Scheduler to work closely with the company Directors.

What will be my main responsibilities?

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural and fabricated steel projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor components.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating timelines for fabrication, delivery, and installation to ensure on-time completion.
• Produce and interpret technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software to support estimation, detailing, and production planning.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to clarify specifications, resolve discrepancies, and ensure project scope alignment.
• Monitor project progress and update forecasts, identifying potential risks, cost variances, or scheduling conflicts for proactive resolution.

How can I be successful?

• 3+ years' experience within an Estimator / Scheduling position, with drafting experience.
• Proficient with CAD drawings and Dynamic 365 System.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Full Australian working rights and reliable transport to and from work.
