The Company:

A growing Perth based builder delivering high quality residential, multi-unit, and small commercial projects and they're looking for a sharp, experienced Estimator ready to lead a small team and take ownership of the estimating function.

The Role:

This is your chance to step into a leadership role and shape the way they price, cost and win work. You’ll be managing a team of two estimators and working closely with the leadership team, to ensure the work is accurate, competitive and profitable.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and mentor a team of 2 Estimators
• Oversee BOQs, cost plans, tender submissions and variations
• Maintain recipes and cost databases
• Source, assess and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Collaborate with Design, Sales and Construction to align scope and costs
• Identify risks, improve processes, and refine pricing strategy
• Ensure compliance with WA building codes, NCC and tolerances

What You Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in residential or commercial estimating (WA market essential)
• Experience leading or mentoring others
• Strong knowledge of local construction methods, trades, and suppliers
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Buildxact, CostX, Truth engine or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong commercial acumen
• Confident communicator with a proactive, problem solving mindset
• Able to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines under pressure
