The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established South Australian builder. While they are known for high-quality fitouts, they mainly deliver new builds, and also take on large commercial and industrial fitouts with projects reaching $50M.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager and Operations Manager, the Site Manager will oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting the site team
• Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities
• Monitoring safety, quality, and program milestones
• Assessing productivity and resolving issues proactively
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trades

You will have the opportunity to manage a range of projects, primarily new builds, with exposure to large fitouts, gaining valuable experience across multiple sectors.

The Like Mind

The ideal candidate is a commercial Site Manager with experience in commercial construction. You are a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of delivering projects efficiently while maintaining high standards.

Key attributes include:

• Proven experience managing new builds and/or large fitouts in SA for 3 + years
• Strong knowledge of structural and commercial construction works
• Excellent leadership, organisation, and time management skills
• Relevant trade qualification (carpentry or similar)
• A proactive, safety-focused approach and commitment to quality
• A people-first attitude that aligns with a team-focused, collaborative culture
