About the Role - Fixed until 6 April 2026
The Committee Governance and Internal Controls Policy Officer will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and providing advice on FRV's controls initial assessment, control documentation, control design, control testing, and provide the outcome of control testing to control owners and provide recommendations for improvement.
Functional Accountabilities include:
Review existing policy and procedure documents to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and adoption of best practices;
Perform initial assessment of control documentation and design;
Provide training, aligned with the Risk Management Program, to create an understanding on the importance of internal control and assurance concepts to the departments across FRV;
Partner with the Risk and Finance Teams and other FRV Departments on internal controls and assurance issues and make recommendations to address them;
Execute control testing and reporting of control design effectiveness to control owners;
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess possible solutions and decide on the best approaches to mitigate internal controls risks.
What you will need to Succeed
Extensive experience in internal control or internal audit within industry / consulting / advisory experience (Desirable);
Strong Committee Governance experience
A tertiary qualification in Public Administration/ Public Policy or equivalent;
Membership of the Professional Institutes or MBA in related discipline (Desirable).

FRV's standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
