About the Role - Fixed until 30 November 2026
This Business Assurance Program Delivery Manager provides stewardship on the quality of work delivered by Business Assurance across FRV (Fire Rescue Victoria) to build internal capability and ensure that risk and business continuity practice is embedded into core programs that support strategic and leadership decision making. The position leads and manages all related risk and business continuity programs across FRV that promote a mature risk culture
Functional Accountabilities include:
Build internal capability and ensure that risk and business continuity practice is embedded into core programs that support strategic and leadership decision making
Provide guidance and support to the risk and business continuity functions within the Business Assurance Directorate to lift team capability in their delivery of the risk and business continuity programs
Provide timely and specialist advice and recommendations relating to the risk and business continuity program, including oversight on quality Executive reporting
Provide guidance and support to the Director on opportunities to further embed the risk management framework
Use modern program delivery methodology to build and strengthen cross functional teams to embed risk and business continuity maturity. Track, monitor and deliver the program benefits
Represent FRV on risk and business continuity with emergency services sector partners and relevant government agencies to develop, review and evaluate sector reform regarding risk and business continuity
Manage a team of risk, business continuity and governance subject matter experts
What you will need to Succeed
Extensive experience in leading programs covering enterprise risk, business continuity, and/or governance; working in government, industry / consulting / advisory fields.
Experience working in an industrialised environment is desirable.
A tertiary qualification in strategic leadership, business continuity, risk, governance and/or auditing is desirable.
Membership of the Professional Institutes or MBA in related discipline (Desirable).

FRV's standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
