Treescape Australia is a leader in vegetation management, servicing both public and private sectors. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to join our team in Wacol.

This is a unique opportunity to not only manage payroll functions but also support the finance team in broader day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Set up new employees in the payroll system and maintain accurate personnel records.

Review and approve timesheets, ensuring timely uploads into the payroll system.

Prepare month-end reports including:

Payroll Tax

Child Support Agency deductions

Garnishee and Union Fees

Severance Payments

Superannuation

Complete year-end processes such as:

Payroll tax reconciliations

Issuing Payment Summaries

Reporting Fringe Benefits

Manage superannuation and payroll tax payments.

Perform general ledger reconciliations.

Assist the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience with UKG payroll system, SAP Business One or Oracle Cloud is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of industrial awards and agreements.

Solid grasp of payroll legislation and compliance.

Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.

Report writing experience is a plus.
