Payroll Officer Join a leading ASX-listed mining organisation based in Brisbane CBD offering a collaborative culture, hybrid flexibility, and long-term career stability. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll within a large, complex business.

The Role You’ll take ownership of the payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across both corporate and operational employees. Working within a supportive team, you’ll also assist with reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large, multi-site workforce
• Interpret EBAs, awards, and company policies
• Manage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and related compliance
• Maintain employee records and ensure payroll data integrity
• Support month-end reporting and reconciliations
• Provide timely advice and support to employees and leaders

About You You’re an experienced payroll professional who prides yourself on accuracy, attention to detail, and delivering excellent service. You work well in a team environment and can confidently handle complex payroll requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• End-to-end payroll experience in medium to large organisations
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and EBA/Award interpretation
• High level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Understanding of PLSL
