About the role

As a Duty Manager at the Richmond Inn, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our thriving venue.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the venue, making decisions and providing exceptional service to our customers. This is a hands on role, to lead by example and work closely with the team. Availability to work days, evenings, late nights, weekends and public holidays is required.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate daily operations

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally

Oversee staff and assist in all areas of the venue

Maintain accurate financial reconciliation and records

Enforce compliance, venue policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the venue

What we're looking for

RSA/ RCG essential, minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, sorry no visa holders, full Australian working right only.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric approach

Good understanding of BOH procedures, POS systems, TAB, Bar & Gaming operations

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and staff

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
