About Reliance Caring

At Reliance Caring, we are dedicated to providing outstanding, customer-focused

disability services to our community in their own homes or at one of our SIL homes.

At Reliance Caring, we take immense pride in being a registered NDIS provider. We

understand that no two participants are the same, which is why we deliver participant-

centric services that align perfectly with your NDIS plan and unique aspirations.

At the heart of Reliance Caring is our compassionate, skilled team of professionals.

From support workers to care coordinators, therapists, and plan managers, we are a

group of dedicated individuals committed to making a positive impact in the lives of

those we serve.

The Opportunity: Lead Our Growth and Impact

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Business Development and Intake Manager to

play a pivotal role in our mission. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your

leadership across our NDIS services and directly drive our national growth strategy.

Reporting to the Director, you will be the architect of our client acquisition

journey—from first contact to seamless onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development & Growth:

• Develop and execute a growth and sales strategy to expand our reach and

impact statewide.

• Generate, nurture, and convert leads through targeted sales and marketing

initiatives.

• Build and maintain a powerful network with key referral partners, funding bodies,

community groups, and stakeholders.

• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Reliance Caring at industry expos,

forums, and networking events.

• Identify and secure new SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes and

properties to meet participant needs.

Participant Intake & Onboarding Leadership:

• Own and manage the end-to-end participant journey: initial inquiry, assessment,

intake, and onboarding.

• Provide expert advice and information to potential clients, their families, carers,

and support coordinators.

• Ensure a compassionate, efficient, and positive onboarding experience for all

new participants.

• Coordinate seamlessly with Operations and Service Delivery teams to guarantee

a smooth transition to ongoing support.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management:

• Foster and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with participants, Support

Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health professionals.

• Manage the transition of NDIS participants from hospital settings into our care.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and referral partners.

Operational Excellence & Reporting:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise intake and business development support staff.

• Prepare detailed monthly performance reports for the General Manager.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and compliant records in line with NDIS standards.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Proven experience in a business development and leadership role within the

NDIS and community disability sector.

• An adept understanding of the NDIS framework, pricing arrangements, and the

broader aged care and disability landscape.

• A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships

with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for fostering a high-performance

culture.

• Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to

work autonomously.

• Qualification in Business, Marketing, Health Management, or a related field (or

equivalent experience).

Essential Requirements:

• National Police Check

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Evidence of working rights in Australia

• Willingness to undertake intra- and interstate travel as required

What’s In It For You?

• Meaningful Impact: Play a central role in growing a service that genuinely

changes lives.

• Strategic input: Lead through input and influence.

• Supportive Environment: Join a friendly, dedicated team with a great community

care spirit.

How to Apply:

If you are a proactive leader passionate about driving growth and delivering exceptional

client outcomes, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a

cover letter outlining your suitability for this role.
