Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician with experience in Microsoft 365 to join our growing team. As a Desktop Support Technician at S5 Technology Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' desktop environments. You will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, providing technical assistance to end-users and resolving a wide range of IT issues.

Responsibilities:

Provide first and second level support for desktop-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows, Microsoft 365, and Line of Business Applications, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.

Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.

Collaborate with other IT professionals to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Conduct routine system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.

Assist in the deployment and management of security solutions.

Educate end-users on Microsoft 365 best practices and provide training as needed.

Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and solutions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Familiarity with desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert) a plus.
