This Legal Assistant/Paralegal role will focus on all aspects from estate planning to administration and litigation support, you’ll gain exposure to high-quality matters and work closely with both clients and external stakeholders.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Liaise directly with clients and manage the onboarding process.
• Coordinate diaries and book client appointments.
• Communicate with accountants and financial planners to gather key documents.
• Prepare probate applications, collect assets, and assist with final distributions.
• Draft estate planning documents (Wills, EPOAs, Advance Health Directives).
• Assist with end-of-month billing and maintain accurate records.

You’ll be joining a Special Counsel, who is passionate about helping clients navigate estate planning and administration with a practical, empathetic approach. They are recognised in Doyle’s Guide 2025 for their expertise in Wills, Estate & Succession Planning and Litigation. Alongside them, you’ll collaborate with a small but dedicated team in a supportive and nationally connected practice group.

About you:

• 12+ months’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (open to all levels).
• Bonus points for familiarity with probate or estate administration.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Confidence working independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
• Experience with end-of-month billing (advantageous).

The Details

• Type: Full-time (8:30am – 5:00pm), Monday - Friday
• Location: Brisbane CBD
• Salary: $80k - $90k package (experience dependent)
• Contract: Permanent role
• Student: Can apply if you have 18+ months left of study before graduation
