Cygnet Brand Construction is an award-winning Tasmanian builder known for craftsmanship, professionalism, and quality results.

We’re expanding our team and looking for exceptional Estimators, Site Foremen, and Qualified Carpenters to join us in Cygnet, TAS 7112.

Your Role
Depending on your experience and trade, you’ll be responsible for:

Estimator

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and timelines for residential and commercial projects

Analyse plans and specifications to identify materials, labour, and subcontractor requirements

Work closely with clients and project managers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget

Site Foreman

Lead on-site teams to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard

Manage subcontractors and site logistics

Uphold strong safety practices and site organisation

Maintain open communication with clients and the broader project team

Qualified Carpenters

Perform a range of carpentry tasks — framing, fix-outs, finishing, and custom detail work

Interpret plans and drawings with accuracy

Maintain site standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism

What We're Looking For

Extensive experience as an Estimator, Site Foreman, or Qualified Carpenter in the construction industry

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Up-to-date knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices

Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
