About the role

Unique earth' is rammed earth construction business and we are seeking an experienced Carpenter/Leading Hand to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a casual position, offering the opportunity to take on a shared leadership role. Our projects are largely residential/architectural and often creative as Rammed earth is a very plastic and interesting construction method.

The job entails

Form working

Skid steer loader operation

Operating pneumatic tools

Liaising with builders, trades and clients

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 5 years' hands-on construction experience

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on site

Ability to interrupt construction plans

Excellent communication skills

Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and safety regulations

Our projects are largely Hobart based. However we do work statewide and will have projects away from home from time to time. All expenses covered.

No tools are required for this role.
