An exciting opportunity exists for a Coordinator Roster Allocations to join the Operational Services Unit. As the Coordinator Roster Allocations, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient roster and leave management for Operational Support Services (OSS) staff which ensures teams are rostered appropriately to deliver safe and quality support services at Nambour General Hospital in line with the provisions of Industrial Awards and Health Service requirements. You will coordinate and manage the shift scheduling, review and recommend roster and operational staffing strategies, in consultation with the relevant line managers, to provide approved monthly rosters. You will be required to establish and manage systems and processes to accurately track and record staff attendance, absences and leave rostering.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Establish, review and maintain replacement strategies for short and long-term absences (i.e., sick leave, annual leave, long service leave etc).
- Develop and review rosters and staffing strategies (including recruitment) to maximise operational efficiencies and meet QH awards and policies.
- Complete and submit accurate staff movement and leave documentation in a timely manner.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders including HR and Payroll regarding rostering requirements and payroll enquiries, ensuring that approved rosters are compiled and submitted before agreed deadlines and that any changes have been included.
Remuneration value up to $91 760 p.a, comprising salary between $2818.50 - $3082.60 p.f, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO4) (Fixed Term Temporary Leave Relief position available for up to 12 months). About Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service
Public health services in Queensland are provided through 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHS). These are statutory bodies each governed by a Hospital and Health Board. Some public health services are also provided by private providers.
The Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland, including monitoring the performance of HHSs.
