About the role
J & C Legh General Engineering is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations & Office Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day administration and finance functions in Rockhampton, QLD. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a strong background in admin and bookkeeping who’s ready to step into a key position with a stable, locally respected business.
What you'll be doing
Managing the front office reception and providing exceptional customer service to clients, suppliers and other stakeholders
Handling financial tasks such as accounts payable & receivable, banking, payroll and BAS lodgements
Coordinating office supplies and generating Purchase Orders
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role
Solid understanding of accounts/bookkeeping procedures
Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and a willingness to learn in a supportive team environment.
Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands
