About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage the end-to-end payroll function on a part-time, temporary basis. This role offers the flexibility to work fully from home, supporting a small payroll of up to 100 employees.
You will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services while working autonomously. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical payroll knowledge and be confident using KeyPay and QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for a workforce of up to 60 employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, legislation, tax, and superannuation requirements.
- Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting, and related administration.
- Handle employee queries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Work independently to ensure accuracy and deadlines are consistently met.
About You
- Proven experience in full-function payroll processing and compliance.
- Confident using KeyPay and QuickBooks would be extremely beneficial, but not essential.
- Ability to work autonomously with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation.
- Reliable, organised, and adaptable to a flexible part-time arrangement.
