Our client is an Australian manufacturing company with a proud history spanning over 100 years. They are looking for an experienced payroll expert to join the finance team due to the retirement of their current Payroll Officer.

You will:

Be responsible for 3 payrolls; 2 fortnightly pays for factory and operations employees and 1 monthly payroll for office based and managerial employees

Be familiar with Modern Awards interpretation; experience in manufacturing, distribution or a logistics environment would be useful

Ideally have experience with Kronos

Be able to work independently and be methodical in your approach to meet payroll deadlines

Be happy to problem solve and answer payroll queries

Ideally be familiar with processing superannuation and payroll tax payments

The role reports to the CFO as part of a small, friendly payroll team. There will be a handover with the person currently in the role.

Our client needs someone able to work 3 days per week with Monday and Tuesday being key; the 3rd day can be flexible. The hours can also be flexible in terms of start time as long as you can commit to an 8 hour working day to meet deadline requirements.
