We are seeking a motivated individual to support our laboratory operations through accurate and efficient stock control. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in science and hands-on experience in ordering, receiving, and organising inventory within a fast-paced environment.

Required Availability: Monday–Wednesday, 8:00am–4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Count, order, receive, and pack away laboratory stock

Conduct regular stocktakes and enter inventory data

Safely operate pallet jacks

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring timely disposal of packing materials and waste

Communicate effectively with vendors, warehouses, procurement, and internal departments to manage stock delays and urgent requirements

What we are looking for:

Someone who enjoys working in a supportive team environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering accurate work. This role will suit candidates interested in laboratory operations who also have experience in inventory or stores coordination.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel

Confidence using phones and email for communication

Accurate numeric and data-entry skills

Ability to follow established procedures and policies

Understanding of stock rotation and min/max inventory principles

Experience operating pallet jacks (desirable)
