We are looking for a very friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and assist in delivering the highest standard of customer service to our clients and their beloved pets.

Job Description:
As a Veterinary Receptionist at Northern Beaches Veterinary Clinic, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners. You will play a key role in managing appointments, answering phone calls, processing payments, and providing administrative support to the veterinary team. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and smooth-running clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Have Fun and enjoy working in a fantastic environment.

Greet and check-in clients and their pets with smile.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.

Manage client records and update information practice management software.

Process payments, handle billing, and assist with insurance claims.

Assist with pet care reminders and follow-up appointments.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and consult rooms.

Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Provide clients with education on services, products, and aftercare.

About You:

Experienced and confident in a busy customer focused environment.

Ideally you will have Veterinary Receptionist experience, but it is not essential. Medical, Dental or other health care reception experience is highly regarded.

Ability to multitask and work independently as well as a team.

Genuine love and passion for what you do, coupled with a good work ethic and enthusiasm for contributing to a positive team environment.
