About Us
NQ Care is a new Emergency and Referral Veterinary Hospital in Townsville that opened in January 2025. Since opening, we’ve experienced significant growth and are now looking to expand our client services team. We’re passionate about giving back to the community, caring for our patients, and most importantly, supporting our people.

The Role
Our client services team is the first point of contact for pet owners, and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service. This is far from your ordinary reception role—it’s fast-paced, diverse, and dynamic, with plenty of opportunities to interact with pets and their families.
We’re currently looking for:
1 x Full-Time Client Services Team Member
1 x Casual Client Services Team Member
As a 24-hour hospital, the roster includes shifts between 7 am and 12 am, including some weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming and assisting clients while managing the flow of the waiting area
Facilitating communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and our clinical team
Handling financial transactions and client payments
Managing pet medical insurance claims
Scheduling and coordinating appointments (referral and emergency) in person and over the phone
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Outgoing, dynamic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
A confident communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills
Collaborative, adaptable, and able to problem-solve on the go
Professional in presentation and sensitive in communication style
Preferred Background
Strong preference for candidates with a veterinary, nursing, or medical/healthcare background
Previous experience in a busy reception role (minimum 3 years)
Experience with EzyVet software (highly desirable but not essential)
