About the Role As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the pre-construction process, preparing accurate cost plans, tenders, and budgets across a range of fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Working closely with senior management and project delivery teams, you’ll ensure all bids and costings are competitive, compliant, and commercially sound. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to take ownership of the tendering function within a respected, high-performing contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tenders, and bills of quantities for fit-out projects.
  
  
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and documentation to determine project requirements and costs.
  
  
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
  
  
• Develop and maintain cost databases, trade packages, and benchmarking information.
  
  
• Contribute to tender presentations and bid strategy.
  
  
• Support project teams with post-tender analysis and handovers.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  
  
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating within commercial construction or fit-out.
  
  
• Proven track record delivering accurate and competitive tenders for projects over $5m and up to $50m
  
  
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  
  
• Strong understanding of local subcontractor markets and industry cost trends.
