We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Sydney team. This role will be based full time from our office in Emu Plains.

Urban Infrastructure Pty Ltd is a leading civil construction company based in Sydney, specialising in a wide range of projects, including civil construction and carparks, footpath and road reconstruction, concreting, kerb and guttering works, streetscapes, community parks, open spaces, hard and soft landscaping, as well as earthworks.

Position Overview:

As a Civil Construction Estimator at Urban Infrastructure, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing competitive bids, and contributing to the success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services

Develop comprehensive and competitive bids, considering all relevant factors and ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements

Perform risk analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities

Monitor and control project costs and variations throughout the life of the project

Attend pre-tender meetings and site inspections

Making new contacts and developing existing relationships

About you:

3+ years’ full-time estimating experience for civil construction projects

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards

Proficiency in estimating software Pronamics Expert Estimation and Bluebeam

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and outgoing interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Knowledge of local government tender processes and industry regulations
