Social Media Content Creator - Unpaid Internship

Part-time role post-internship available.

Purpose

Connect and grow the Zuum community with 'always on' organic socials that leverage the brand's narrative and give the audience a BTS look at the Zuum team (including you!).

Learnings

Apply theoretical social media marketing strategy in the real world for a rapidly growing business.

Work as part of a dynamic marketing team with a strong degree of autonomy from day 1.

Up-skill video production and editing across multiple platforms (CapCut, Adobe, etc).

About You

You must be confident on camera, capable at editing and have a 'can-do' attitude. Personal brand matters at Zuum, so we want someone who owns their own energy and brings it to the office. Previous/on-going experience creating personal TikTok's / funny IG stories is highly valued for this position.

The role is based in our South Melbourne office 2-3 days per week. We are flexible, so if you are a uni student and have exams one week, don't stress! We were there a couple years ago too.

Job #1- Instagram stories

We want Zuum's IG stories to feel like you're watching a close-friend's story.

Using BTS from meetings, snippets from the Zuum group chat, funny photos / videos from around the office, pieces to camera, etc; take the audience behind the scenes of Zuum, build hype and context for upcoming product launches, marketing campaigns, events and brand updates.

Job #2 - TikTok

Bring Zuum to life on TikTok through engaging lo-fi videos using Zuum's three core marketing pillars.

Show off Zuum's personality and drive brand-awareness and association with easy-to-watch, easy-to-share content. You'll be involved in every step; from campaign planning, video ideation, shot direction, filming & editing.

Job #3 - Community Management

Make Zuum feel like a personal account. We want to 'feel' chronically online, so using the Zuum IG & TikTok accounts reply to stories and posts from people and brands we follow. Bring your own young, energetic, cheeky vibe to the tone of voice.

Job #4 - PR & Events

We SHOW UP at events across Melbourne. Bring the energy and make a scene with the team as we sample and film content at events and activations across the city.
