We’re looking for a freelance creative who can film, edit, and bring our ideas to life across video and social media.

Electrical How To is Australia’s leading online training platform for electricians — and we’re on a mission to make learning in the trade fun, practical, and relatable. You’ll be capturing our crew on real jobs, building engaging educational content, and creating videos that spark attention on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

This role starts as freelance / contract-based with flexible hours and ongoing work available for the right person.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

Filming electricians on real jobs — in homes, workshops, and on the tools.

Editing training videos for our online platform (Electrical How To).

Creating social media content that grabs attention — Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and stories.

Shooting behind-the-scenes content and helping plan creative campaigns.

Turning everyday work into scroll-stopping content that tradies love watching.

Collaborating with our small, passionate team to brainstorm new video ideas.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in videography, editing, and social content creation.

A strong understanding of social media trends and storytelling (especially Reels/TikTok).

Confidence filming on-site — you’re not afraid to get amongst the tools and dust.

Skilled in Premiere Pro + Cap Cut

Strong sense of pacing, sound, and visual flow — you know what keeps viewers watching.

Creative, reliable, and self-motivated — you can run with ideas and make them happen.
