The role is based in Melbourne, focused on VIC. We are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced Trade Account Manager to develop, lead and drive contract and commercial sales. A professional sales star invested in growth and opportunity. The role requires a self-motivated individual to grow our market share, through regular client interaction, trade fairs and initiatives, meeting sales targets.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Present our range and services to clients whilst supporting them investing in Cane-line furniture and associated services. Occasionally attend to Retail enquiries and showroom walk-ins.
Use your comprehensive product knowledge to ensure the features and benefits of our range and services are clearly and succinctly shared with prospective clients.
Answer and qualify, all new leads, organise, meet and hold phone and face-to-face meetings. You will be given a level of autonomy to build and thrive within the role.
Establish relationships with Architects, Interior Designers & key stakeholders. You will utilise your connections and skills to grow the business and the brand.
Present, Quote, Qualify and Manage projects from specification to delivery, in a timely manner.
Meet monthly targets to achieve bonus, whilst fostering a collaborative team environment amongst the team - all working together towards the common goal of providing an extraordinary customer experience.
Collaborate, support and work alongside the Director.
Coordinate quoting, order processing and all required administrative responsibilities.
Attributes Required for Effective Performance:
Minimum 3 years commercial sales experience in the design industry is desirable.
Proven history of achieving targets and KPI’s.
Thorough understanding of the commercial procurement process required with a strong emphasis on maintaining specification and driving new opportunities during the project timeline.
Extensive sales and negotiation skills, Commercial acumen - essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting in front of groups.
Outstanding leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
Strong attention to detail, Time Management, Organisation and Planning skills.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary; Negotiable (dependant on experience) + commissions
