About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join us in maintaining the growth and reputation of our firm. The main focus of this role is to source and purchase scrap metal from industrial clients within the Victorian market.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase scrap metal from industrial clients

Generate leads and book appointments through canvassing and cold calling

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients

Achieve and exceed sales targets

Provide exceptional customer service and support

Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies

Essential Skills and Attributes:

Prior experience in account management is necessary

Account management experience specifically in metal recycling is preferred

Minimum of 5+ years of account management experience is required

Strong ability to meet targets and deadlines

Highly organized with a sound understanding of sales functions and processes

Excellent organizational and self-management skills to manage multiple leads effectively

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Australian citizenship is required for this position

A valid driver's licence is required for this role

B2B sales experience is essential for this account management position
