As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Sales Manager to join our team. This role is not an entry-level position — applicants must bring at least 5 years’ of proven sales account management or business development experience within foodservice or a closely related industry. Covering Victoria as your main territory, with scheduled travel to South Australia and Tasmania, you’ll bring expertise, confidence, and the ability to deliver results from day one.
About the Role
You will take full ownership of a portfolio of key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across your region. Working with major wholesale and foodservice clients, you’ll use your industry knowledge and experience to deliver tailored outcomes, drive sales growth, and build long-term loyalty.
This role suits someone who can work autonomously, thrives on results, and brings the authority and commercial maturity to influence at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Be available to travel — on the road visiting customers 4 days per week
Manage, retain, and grow sales of key customer accounts across your territory
Identify and convert new business opportunities aligned with our product range
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at multiple levels
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service and outcomes
Provide market insights on customer needs, competitor activity, and trends
Consistently achieve (and exceed) sales targets and KPIs
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE - Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in account management or business development within the FOOD SERVICE industry (this is essential)
MUST HAVE - A strong record of achieving sales targets and successfully growing accounts
MUST HAVE - Demonstrated ability to negotiate and build influential, long-term relationships
MUST HAVE - Solid commercial acumen and understanding of customer drivers
MUST HAVE - Highly professional, self-motivated, and organised with excellent communication skills
MUST HAVE - The ability to travel regionally and Interstate as required by the company
MUST HAVE - Your own reliable motor vehicle (car allowance is part of the salary package)
MUST HAVE - CRM Experience
