We’re on the lookout for a People and Culture Wellbeing Coordinator to join our passionate People Culture and Wellbeing team at H&S Group. A bit about the role
As a People and Culture Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll work across the entire employee journey from recruitment and onboarding to engagement, compliance and everything in between. You’ll be a key support to the team and a friendly go-to for our team members.
You’ll also:
Help us create an exceptional candidate and employee experience
Keep things moving behind the scenes
Take initiative, ask questions, and bring fresh ideas to the table
Pitch in with your fellow Coordinator and HR Manager to get things done

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Coordination
End-to-end recruitment support (ads, screening, phone screens, scheduling, reference checks)
Manage Seek inbox, chat, candidate communication, and reviews
Coordinate recruitment campaigns (job boards, fairs, casual pool, LAM)
Premium talent search and involvement in talent search training
"Keeping in Touch" and "Circling Back" initiatives
Manage Recruitment Inbox
Onboarding & Traineeship Support
Prepare contracts, collect documents, and coordinate pre-employment checks
First-day check-ins, uniform portal management
Liaise with Kool Kids for traineeship management and wage subsidies
Support Blue Card audit processes and compliance
Governance & Compliance
Ensure onboarding documentation and records meet compliance standards
Assist with platform audits (e.g. Blue Card Portal, TANDA)
Maintain accurate HR documentation and support policy adherence
Contribute to a safe, ethical, and compliant HR environment
General HR Duties & Support
Collaborate with the HR Manager on workforce planning
General HR Duties and Provide Centre HR Support
Assist with ad hoc projects, documentation, and employee initiatives
Act as a backup when the HR Manager is out of office (team spirit is everything!)
Manage PCW inbox
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you are:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar
3 years + experience in Human Resources
Friendly, approachable, and enjoy supporting others
Organised and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease
Comfortable using HR systems (TANDA experience a bonus!)
Naturally proactive – a go-getter who spots what needs doing and jumps in
Open to learning and keen to grow in the HR space
