We’re inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced HR and WHS professionals for an upcoming People, Safety & Culture Coordinator opportunity, commencing January 2026. About Us
We are group of entities within electrical engineering consultancy, maintenance and manufacturing, with main office based in Eight Mile Plains, and two manufacturing sites in Meadowbrook and Wakerley.
About the Role
Reporting to the People, Safety & Culture Manager, you’ll provide hands-on coordination across HR, WHS, payroll support, and engagement activities. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, ensuring compliance, and making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Coordinating onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes.
· Maintaining HR, WHS, and payroll documentation accuracy.
· Liaising with Finance for payroll and reimbursement queries.
· Supporting training matrices, apprenticeships, and TAFE/RTO partnerships.
· Assisting with toolbox talks, RTW programs, and ISO 45001/9001 audits.
· Driving wellbeing, culture, and employee recognition initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
· Diploma or higher in Human Resources, WHS, or Business Administration.
· 2–3 years’ experience in HR/WHS coordination and payroll support.
· Sound understanding of Fair Work Act, WHS Act 2011 (Qld), and Workcover RTW.
· Experience working with TAFE QLD, RTOs, and apprenticeship programs.
· Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
· Confidence using Employment Hero, Xero, or similar HRIS/ERP systems.
