VENUE MANAGER

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Club. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, operational excellence, and compliance with relevant regulations. The Venue Manager will lead and inspire the front-of-house team, coordinate events and activities, and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for staff and patrons.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service and an exceptional guest experience.

Lead, motivate and manage front-of-house staff, including rostering, training, and performance management.

Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, health & safety, and relevant legislation.

Coordinate functions, events, and special activities in collaboration with other departments.

Monitor financial performance including budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.

Ensure the venue is clean, well-presented, and operates to the highest standards at all times.

Build strong relationships with members, guests, suppliers, and the local community.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Venue Manager or similar leadership role (preferably in hospitality, clubs, or restaurants).

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent knowledge of hospitality operations, compliance, and service standards.

Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.

Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

Ability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
