Your new Company
Keystone Lawyers began as a one-person firm in 2010 and has grown into a national team with offices in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, and the North Coast.
Their reputation is built on understanding each client’s business and delivering practical, tailored legal solutions. This approach has earned them long-term partnerships with businesses across Australia.
But what really sets them apart is their people – a team that supports each other, values long-term relationships, and genuinely cares about the quality of their work.
Your new Role
Working closely with the Director and wider team, this is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of all day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions across the firm. From managing trust accounts to processing payroll and preparing reports, you’ll be the go-to person keeping the numbers accurate, compliant, and up to date. This will include:
Managing daily transactions, ledgers, and reconciliations across all accounts
Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Director
Overseeing trust account activities and ensuring audit compliance
Processing payroll, super, and employee entitlements accurately and on time
Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, PAYG and other ATO requirements
About you
You’re a capable, all-round accounting professional who’s happiest when things balance and the books make sense. You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get things done and enjoy being the go-to person for all things finance in a close, friendly team. We are looking for someone with:
A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Around 3+ years’ experience in a similar hands-on accounting or bookkeeping role
Experience managing trust accounts and preparing for audits
Confidence using Xero and solid Excel skills
Strong attention to detail, good judgement, and a friendly, down-to-earth approach
This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning firm that genuinely supports balance, growth, and belonging.
