About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at the Prosthodontic Centre in Glen Iris, Victoria. This is a part-time position (Thursdays and Fridays, with potential opportunity for a 3rd day), working closely along an experienced clinician, in a boutique practice in a close-knit, supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Chair-side assisting during prosthodontic and surgical implant procedures. No days filled with check-up and cleans!

Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

Oversee clinical stock management and surgery setup

Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease

Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns

Supporting the dental team with various administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, with Cert III in Dental Assisting (Cert IV advantageous)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures

A genuine interest in dentistry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Proficiency with dental software and clinical photography advantageous
