We are a family friendly and modern dental practice, located in Grovedale, Geelong. Our practice is rapidly growing and we are a six Dentist team with supporting staff. We offer our patients with a wide range of dental services in a fast paced, state of the art and established practice.

Applicants

Responsibilities for applicants include:

Chairside assisting for dentist for a variety of dental procedures

Sterilisation of instruments and following infection control protocols

Managing the front desk including maintaining the phone lines, greeting and welcoming patients warmly

Computer literacy skills

Amazing teamwork and communication skills within our tight knit team

Processing payments using Dental4Windows and HICAPS

Opportunity and knowledge of ordering and maintaining stock

Recall Management and Settlement for the day

3D printing of dental casts, making bleaching trays, mouthguards etc

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Dental Assistant who has these attributes:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, minimum 1 year experience with a Certificate 3 and/or Certificate 4 in Dental Assisting preferred.

A long term commitment and dedication to the job.

Be friendly, a peoples person and enthusiastic with exceptional communication skills and be able to build rapport with patients in a friendly and warm manner, chair side or on the phone.

Be reliable, hardworking, loyal, punctual, self-motivated and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Able to work within a friendly, close knit and supportive team and have a caring, positive and bright personality and motivate your team around you.
