We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to play a critical role in testing and validating our proprietary market data platforms and APIs.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Engineer specialising in Capital Markets Data Technology, you will:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) focused on the accuracy, completeness, and performance of our platform.

Implement and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar, with a strong preference for proficiency in languages like Python or Java for scripting.

Perform rigorous data quality checks using SQL to query and analyse large datasets for reconciliation and validation against primary sources.

Collaborate closely with development, product, and data operations teams to identify, document, and track bugs from inception through resolution, using tools like Jira.

Contribute to continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and best practices, specifically within a CI/CD environment.

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

Strong, demonstrable experience testing applications, APIs, and data feeds within the Capital Markets / Financial Services industry.

Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS preferable)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related technical field.
