An exciting opportunity has become available due to recent growth to join our logistics team in the position of Logistics Supervisor. This position is part of the team responsible for the coordination of contracted and chartered bus operations.

The position is overseeing and coordinating transportation and maintain smooth operations across the Logistics Operations

Position includes, but is not limited to the following:

Depot Roll in and outs every day to ensure vehicles are departing safely and on time

Monitor Fleet cleanliness

Monitor Driver presentation and uniforms

Tracking fleet movements

Use of radio communications

Assist with location coordinator for large movements like full school inter athletics carnivals etc

Schedule of day to day fleet movements

Additional tasks as required

Knowledge in the administration and implementation of fatigue management strategies are preferred but not essential

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Ability to work as a team member

Time management skills

Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

Ability to multi-task

A demonstrated commitment to providing a high quality and standard of customer care

Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential

This is a fast paced and high intensity environment, previous experience within the bus industry would be highly regarded, but not essential for this position.

You must have sound written and verbal communication, and the ability to adapt to change. You should also have an intermediate or advanced MS Office proficiency.

This role is for 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at first as a casual but with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate.
