The Role:
This is a newly created role to assist the Senior Accountant with managing the internal accounting function, and manage payments, invoicing, administration/data entry, and management reporting. Well suited to someone with strong technical skills, is comfortable managing high volumes of invoices, and has strong data entry/excel skills.
Accurately record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Manage bank, credit card, and account reconciliations on a regular basis
Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments
Prepare and process employee payroll, ensuring compliance with awards, superannuation, and PAYG obligations
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and payroll tax returns
Assist accountants in preparing month-end and year-end financial reports
Utilise accounting systems such as Xero and Excel
About you:
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping / Accounting (preferred)
Proven experience in end-to-end bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Exposure to inventory management or stock control systems (ideal)
Strong experience using Xero and Excel (essential)
Ability to liaise confidently with farm managers, suppliers, and the finance team
Desire for a long term role, and wanting to grow within the business
Strong attention to detail, time management, and accuracy in reporting
