Immediate start for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to provide ongoing in-house legal counsel on a complex Family Law matter.

This unique role offers the stability and focus of working closely with a company director on a complex family law matter involving a complex custody and property settlement.

Experience with early child psychology matters will be a considerable advantage.

In addition to leading deliverables in family law proceedings, there are also opportunities for involvement in a range of commercial matters and general litigation for those with appropriate experience in property, finance or business law.

This is an ideal position for an ambitious smart lawyer who is ready to take on considerable responsibility, with the potential for the role to grow into a long-term position as an equity partner or lead of a law practice.

The ideal candidate will be able to drive case strategy, condense a large volume of evidence to key components.

What We're Looking For

In-house legal services on a complex family law matter

Admission to practice law in Queensland (or eligible for admission shortly)

Minimum 2 years post-admission experience with majority focus on family law

Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills

Desirable:

Queensland Law Society Family Law Specialist Accreditation

Experience with complex custody matters and property settlements

Commercial or property law or ligitation experience
