Genuine Legal is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated by a genuine desire to help clients and have demonstrated experience in family law matters.

Tasks and responsibilities

Drafting court documents, consent orders and binding financial agreements

Drafting correspondence

Representing clients in Court (FCFCOA) and mediations

Reviewing documents including disclosure and identifying issues

Working alongside the team of paralegals and senior practitioners to manage cases and caseload to ensure effective service in a timely manner

Four hours per day billable target

Skills and experience

Already admitted to practice as a solicitor or seeking admission in the near future

Family Law experience would be advantageous
