Support Engineer

We are a small but quickly expanding MSP with needs to employ a support engineer to join our dynamic and down-to-earth team. We are looking for someone with Level 2 experience.

Full time position. $75,000 to $85,000 + Super

We need someone with good written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients of various technical levels. Must be good with time management, must have attention to detail and be able to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated to excel in whatever tasks are undertaken and have enough technical knowledge and experience to carry out general day to day IT support tasks.

Your main responsibilities will be providing technical support for business customers on helpdesk and onsite. The tasks will range from any of the following:

Incident management – diagnosis and troubleshooting of service desk tickets

Support end user with provided solutions (Office 365, business applications, VOIP, Internet etc)

Escalate incidents and problems for resolution by appropriate staff and vendors

Experience configuring, administering Microsoft Office 365; including migration and other Azure services.

Knowledge of IP networking, DHCP, DNS and general network principles.

Microsoft qualifications with at least 3 years Industry experience in Australia with level 2 technical ability.

Experience in supporting customers at their office and over the phone.

Full understanding of Networking with Firewall and VPN Experience.

Good experience with Microsoft Server Products and Hyper-V environments.

Full knowledge and experience of office 365 including experience in migrations.

Having N-Central Management knowledge would be highly desirable.

A high level of initiative

Willingness to learn new skills and systems

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to manage service requests, incidents, and assets in a service desk tool

Previous experience with VOIP technology preferrable

Must have the following additional requirements,

Must be permanent resident for the past 5 years.

Must be fluent English speaking and have great personal skills.

Must have full driver's license.
