Your New Role!
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Learning and Performance Officer / Promotions Committee Executive Officer for a 12-month parental leave cover. This dual-faceted role supports both our academic promotions processes and learning and development programs. It is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the Academic Promotions Committee while also contributing to the successful delivery of learning and performance initiatives across the University.

Your Key responsibilities will include -

  • Coordinate the Academic Promotions Committee by managing end-to-end processes, validating applications, scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to academic staff and stakeholders throughout the promotions process, ensuring clarity and consistency in advice and communications.
  • Oversee the Academic Promotions inbox and intranet, ensuring timely responses, up-to-date content, and efficient handling of enquiries and correspondence.
  • Support the delivery of learning and development programs by coordinating logistics, liaising with facilitators, managing participant engagement, and ensuring smooth session delivery.
  • Monitor and report on training activity, maintain data integrity across systems, and analyse feedback to drive continuous improvement in learning initiatives.

This Fixed Term (12 Months - parental leave cover) | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) role attracts a remuneration of $79K - $96K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in committee coordination, HR, or related settings.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism in handling documentation and sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in office software and comfort working with systems and processes related to training and development.
