What’s the Role?

JNFO is seeking an enthusiastic and multi-skilled Production Coordinator/Video Producer.

The role is a full-time "go-to" person who coordinates across multiple areas of production. The role involves managing and supporting administrative, financial, contractual, video production, and on-set tasks.

Responsibilities include supporting content creation, contributing to production and filmmaking tasks, journalistic research, and providing hands-on support and safety on set and on location. The role also involves assisting with sound and editing in digital or analogue formats, coordinating equipment hires and returns, and supporting the preparation of contracts and production registers.

This is a multi-skilled hands-on role requiring high levels of creative and practical talent, excellent organisational skills, strong communication, attention to detail, and the flexibility to assist across various production activities.

Skills or Experience required:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Media, Film, Communications, and industry experience.

Experience coordinating production activities, bookings, technical film knowledge.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail.

Excellent negotiation skills, ability to liaise with a range of diverse stakeholders.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Confident communicator, liaise across teams.

Practical understanding and ability in film, video and television production.

Proactive mindset—able to spot issues before they become problems; adaptable and responsive to changing production needs.

Hold a valid Full Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive when required.
