Broad Senior Accounts officer position supporting Financial Controller!

About the Business

This organisation is a progressive residential developer and builder with a strong presence in the QLD market established over 30 years.

About the Position

Currently an opportunity exists for a Senior Accounts Officer to assist the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities will include:

Full function Accounts Receivable and overseeing Accounts Payable

Processing of commission

Managing supplier rebates

Managing the AP workflow process, identify & follow-up any discrepancies.

Preparation of weekly, mid-month and EOM payment runs

Upload all approved invoices into the financial software.

Reconciliation of supplier and subcontractor statements and bank reconciliations

Maintain the General Ledger.

Preparation of EOM and journal entries.

Payroll

Skills and Experience

5 years accounts experience across AR and AP

Experience with P&L and journal entries

Experience within the building industry
