Ozzi Tech & Web Solution is a farming pioneer organisation and requires Agricultural and Agritech Technician-

Education:

Degree/Diploma of Horticulture is mandatory.

Minimum 2 years' experience in similar occupation is required.

Duties include:

Crop Management and advising management on new farming techniques Pest and Disease Control

Technical Support including examining various soil characteristics of farmland to identify most effective use.

Assisting in developing new methods of planting, fertilizing, harvesting and processing crops to achieve maximum land usage

Identify pathogens both micro-organisms, parasites, fungi, insects etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Assists in crop maintenance activities including deleafing, pollination, winding, pruning, thinning, and harvesting of crops.

Monitor and evaluate various crops in accordance with established standards to ensure optimal crop health and quality and provide regular updates to the Growing Team.

Identify pests and diseases affecting crops and advise the Growing Team on appropriate treatment and control methods.

Apply both biological and chemical control measures to maintain crop health and effectively manage pest and disease issues.

Conduct irrigation assessments, including monitoring of pH and EC levels, check for nutrient deficiencies, maintain crop records, and carry out fertilizer applications while coordinating with the Growing Team on findings and concerns.

Participate in plant variety trials, providing detailed reports and recommendations on the most suitable varieties for cultivation based on growth performance and pest resistance.

Support the Growing Team by offering technical input and recommendations related to horticultural best practices, drawing on professional expertise and experience.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of hydraulics is an advantage

Education in Horticulture is Mandatory.

Mechanically minded with an eye for detail

Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
