Our expanding business requires a Lead Machine Technician to extend our capabilities and to meet market demands.

In 2021, Amorim Australasia Pty Ltd created a new operation, namely ICAS-HITE Australasia, as the Australian manufacturing base for the ICAS Group - the world's leading manufacturer of wirehoods for the sparkling wine segment.

This competitive segment requires personnel with determination and drive to produce consistently high quality products using precision equipment.

The Lead Machine Technician will work with the existing leadership team to run the shift operations of the plant. Maintaining and repairing equipment, feeding raw materials and consumables, packing and palletising products, picking and dispatching goods, quality inspections, inventory control, work scheduling/prioritising and maintaining production records are just part of the role.

Availability for overseas travel for training will need to be considered.

The successful candidate will need to be:

Available and eligible for full-time work

Experienced in maintaining and operating precision manufacturing equipment

Mechanically minded and skilled

Highly attentive to detail and quality

A technical problem solver with diagnostic skills and mechanical know-how

Able to work effectively both in a team environment and independently

Informed in, and respectful of OHS obligations

Able to demonstrate tolerance and respect to all colleagues
